Alena is an international presenter, Zumba® Jammer, and Zumba® Fitness Instructor, who teaches dynamic and exhilarating Zumba® Fitness classes in California and around the world. Alena’s energetic, fun-loving, and engaging personality in combination with her fun, easy-to-learn routines make her classes a party that you won’t want to miss.
Throughout the past four years as an instructor and 1.5 years as a Zumba® Jammer, Alena has loved every moment of teaching classes and hosting ZIN Jam™ Sessions, sharing choreography, and supporting our ever-growing Zumba® family of students, instructors, and enthusiasts.
Trainings
Alena is licensed to teach Zumba Fitness, Zumba Gold, Aqua Zumba, Zumba Toning, Zumba Gold Toning, ZumbAtomic, and Zumba in the Circuit.
Conventions
Alena was recently a presenter at the 2011 Zumba® Fitness Instructor Convention in Orlando, Florida. Alena has also attended the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Zumba Instructor Conventions and assisted with many Zumba Fitness trade shows, events, and demonstrations.
Certifications
Alena has received certifications as an ACE Group Fitness Instructor and in CPR/AED.

Hey Alena!
I know you through 24hr Fitness. I don’t go regularly anymore so I feel out of touch with the Zumba community. Good news is I just got hired to teach Zumba at a fitness studio in Berkeley!
I was wondering if you could connect me to some really kind and energetic Zumba instructors you know in the east bay, preferably in Berkeley. I want to have a zumba community too, and I’m also going to Singapore for two weeks in Feburary. I’ll need someone I like and trust to sub my classes >_<
You are really connected to the zumba community and I admire your initiative and energy. I hope you can put me in touch with other zumba instructors just like you. P.s- my classes are tues and thurs 12noon, not a good time for zumba instructors with a day job.
