Transfer, Ferry, Bus, Train, Taxi, Hostel
After a fun and long adventure of various travel transit types, we have arrived in Bangkok in the early hours of the morning and located, and more importantly, checked into, our hostel. The travel adventure was AWESOME!! I have never been so excited to be on a train! I seriously felt like a little kid who wearing an old-fashioned engineer’s cap and overalls and cheering “choo choo!” at every station stop.

[...] We’re spending a few more lovely days in Chiang Mai and then we take the overnight sleeper train to Bangkok (I love trains!) on Saturday. We might experience a few travel delays with the flooding that still all over the middle of the country, but hopefully it won’t be too slow. At least we have our first class private sleeper car room.
